Uusi was a quarterly brand magazine, designed to keep Nokia marketing types and external agencies up to speed with creative goings-on around the world. We worked closely with Nokia’s Head of Art Direction Richard Crabb and DesignStudio on the highly expressive, visually experimental publication, writing and editing all the articles — an all-consuming task. Ussi (which means ‘new’ in Finnish) was nominated for a Design Week Award, and the fourth and final issue featured an original cover by letterpress guru Alan Kitching.
