A set of three A3 self-promotional posters based on the ‘infinite monkey theorem’, which posits that if a thousand monkeys tapped at typewriters for eternity, they’d eventually write the complete works of Shakespeare. Designed by Elmwood, and illustrated by Robert Ball, we came up with humorous Shakespearean misquotes suggesting that totalcontent was a tad more likely to meet client deadlines. Our chimps did us proud, scooping a Design Week Award nomination, getting into the D&AD Annual for Writing for Design, and carrying off the Grand Prix at the Fresh Awards.
